A note from Josh
Most builders will tell you they sweat the details. I grew up watching my dad pack 300 pounds of dirt into each of a thousand tires, one at a time, to build the house that raised me. So when I say I sweat the details, I mean something specific.
That house gave us cool rooms in Texas summers, rainwater to drink, and air that never made anyone sick. It's still standing outside Austin, and probably will be for the next 500 years. As far as we know, it's the only Earthship in Central Texas.
Alix and I started Enso because your home should take care of you the same way. Not as a wellness gimmick. As a construction standard: what goes behind your walls decides what your family lives with and breathes in for the next several decades.
We're not trying to be a better version of the remodeling industry. We're building a different one.

Most remodels run on improvisation, and homeowners pay for it in surprises. Ours run on a finished design, a data-built price, and a schedule you approve. Certainty isn't luck.
Is Part of the Build
Finishes, insulation, and flooring are chosen for what they release into your rooms for years, not just how they look on day one. Air quality isn't an upgrade.
In Zen practice, the enso is a circle drawn the moment the mind is clear. First the clarity, then the action. Our design process exists to build that clarity: nothing assumed, nothing deferred, nothing decided on the fly. Only then does the work begin. The name is the method.
